AcceptIO services experienced a partial outage for most users for a few hours starting early Sunday, 22 April.  Although the servers were still active, they were refusing connections for most services. If you tried at all, you were likely unable to receive or send email or access most web pages.

Full service was restored at about noon (Pacific time), 22 April 2012.

We currently believe that no email or other data was lost during the outage.  However, due to the way sending servers react during an outage, you may receive some messages that are delayed by hours or even days, and it may appear to be chronologically out of order.

It is traditional at this point to say that we are taking steps to ensure this does not happen again. The odds of a recurrence of the particular set of circumstnaces that led to this outage are already quite low. Appropriate individuals have been dealt with in appropriate ways.
